Beta Tester Agreement

By accessing or using the Metron Labs beta software, you agree to the following terms:

Nature of the Software

This is pre-release software provided for evaluation purposes only. It may contain bugs, errors, or security vulnerabilities. You acknowledge that it is not production-ready and you use it at your own risk. You are responsible for backing up all data.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software solely for internal testing and evaluation.

Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, modify, or create derivative works from the software. You may not build competitive products or copy our features.

Ownership and Feedback

All intellectual property rights in the software remain ours. Any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

Confidentiality

The software and any non-public features or information are confidential. You agree not to share access, screenshots, feature details, or public reviews before official launch.

Data Protection

To the extent you upload personal data, you act as the data controller, and we act as a data processor under UK GDPR. You confirm that you have all necessary rights and lawful bases to upload such data. The software is provided as-is and is not guaranteed to meet any specific security or compliance requirements.

Use of Beta Data

We may collect and use data, feedback, and usage information generated through your use of the Beta Services to operate, evaluate, and improve our products. You may opt out of such use at any time by notifying us in writing, in which case your participation in the Beta may be limited.

No Warranty and Liability

The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the beta software.

You may use AI-generated outputs for your internal business purposes, but as set out in #1 above you acknowledge they may contain errors and must be independently verified.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the beta software at any time without notice.

Beta to Commercial Transition

This beta period lasts approximately 6 weeks. If we launch a paid service:

• You will be notified of pricing and terms
• Beta testers may receive preferential pricing or early access (not guaranteed)
• You must execute a new commercial agreement to continue using the Service
• No party is obligated to enter a commercial relationship

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Brand Reference

We may request your permission to reference your company name and logo as a beta tester or early user of the software (for example, on our website or in sales materials). Any such use will be subject to your prior approval.
